1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Clarinet Multiphonics Database ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Clarinet Multiphonics Database is an online resource providing clarinet multiphonic fingerings, audio examples, and educational content. The Service includes both free and subscription-based features.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

Premium features require a paid subscription. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fees
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refund policies as stated at the time of purchase

5. Lifetime Access

"Lifetime access" refers to access for the operational lifetime of the Service. It is a one-time payment that grants you access to the Service for as long as it remains available. Lifetime access is subject to the following conditions:

• If the Service is permanently discontinued, lifetime members will receive at least 90 days' advance notice and the opportunity to export their data before access ends.
• Lifetime access is non-transferable and tied to a single user account.
• Lifetime access includes all features and content updates made available to regular subscribers during the operational life of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including but not limited to audio recordings, fingering diagrams, text, and educational materials, is the property of Heather Roche and is protected by copyright law. You may not:

• Reproduce or distribute content without permission
• Use content for commercial purposes without a license
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
